ALL STUDENTS:

Please join the Interact Club and Kim Anilonis, Katie Hernon and Maggie from Shore point Yoga for some fitness, restoration and relaxation on Thursday, April 26th from
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the high school gym.  The cost is $10.00 per participant.  Tickets will be sold during lunch periods on Wednesday, April 18th and Friday April 20th or you can purchase tickets after school in room 205.  All money raised will be donated to train service dogs for our veterans.

Do you want to win a 2019 yearbook?  Design the cover for the 2019 yearbook and if your design is chosen you will get a free yearbook.  All submissions are due to Ms. Alfieri in room 208 by Monday, April 23rd.

Point Pleasant Boro water bottles for sale in room A-3 see Mrs. Mitreuter.  Cost is $20.00 Cash or check payable to PPBHS. 

Unit Lunch: 

  • Thursday April 19th and Monday April 23rd there will be a 55-minute lunch for all students.
  • All students dismissed for lunch at 11:55 and should return to the building at 12:54 (Period 3 will begin at 12:57).
  • Students are permitted to leave campus or remain in the cafeteria (gym will be open as well if you wish to eat there).
  • Be respectful to the community and be on time for next period.
  • Drivers – use extra caution while leaving senior lot/side street parking.

Construction Industry Career Day will be on Tuesday, May 29th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the NJ Convention and Expo Center, Edison, N.J.  This event will showcase the construction industry’s educational opportunities and occupations, while providing participants with hands-on activities.  Please see Guidance Services for more information.

The Lost and Found Box is located in the Main Office and has several items (coats, lunchboxes, pants, sweatshirts, team apparel, sunglasses, ear buds etc.)   Please stop by and check the boxes.

SENIORS: Ball bids will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunch periods from April 17-20.  All permission slips can be found outside Mrs. Eagan’s classroom door (room 216).

If you think you have perfect attendance for the past four years, please visit Guidance Services by Wednesday, April 25th.

Congressman Chris Smith is presenting a Service Academy Information Night on Thursday, April 19th at 6:00 p.m.  It will be at the Naval Weapons Stations Earl.  Reservations are required, please see Guidance Services for more information.

Construction Industry Career Day will be on Tuesday, May 29th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the NJ Convention and Expo Center, Edison, N.J.  This event will showcase the construction industry’s educational opportunities and occupations, while providing participants with hands-on activities.  Please see Guidance Services for more information.

PARCC testing will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 18th, 19th, 20th & 23rd.  All ELA testing will be on April 18th and 19th and all Math testing will be on April 20th and 23rd.  PARCC testing room assignments will be available in English and Math classes. 
All non – test takers will report to school at 10:00 A.M. during all four days of PARCC testing.  On Wednesday, April 18th and Friday, April 20th all students enter the building at the typical entrances.  On Thursday, April 19th and Monday April 23rd, all non-test takers will report directly to Auditorium at 10:00 a.m.  Attendance will be taken.

Special Need Prom Volunteers needed.  Applications in front office.  All applications to be returned to Ms. Gearing’s mailbox in the main office only.  No hand delivered applications will be accepted.  Due date is Wednesday, April 18th.  Prom is Thursday, May 3rd at Crystal Point Yacht Club 6:00-9:00 p.m. Mandatory question and answer meeting will be on April 23rd at 2:40 in room A-1.

CHEERLEADING: Anybody interested in Fall, Winter & Competition cheer for the 2018-2019 school season must attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, April 16th in the cafeteria starting at 2:45 p.m.

FRESHMAN VS SOPHOMORE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT:              
At Jenkinson’s Beach Inlet on Monday, May 7th 4:00-6:00 p.m.  $5.00 each to play, permission slips outside of A-12 & 210.  Freshmen wear black and sophomores wear gold.  Money and completed permission slips due date is May 1st.
