The Blue Claws will be having a Job Fair on Saturday, February 3rd from 8:00-2:00 p.m. at First Energy Park in Lakewood.  Opportunities for ushers, security, production, ticket takers, bat boys and more!  Applicants must be 16 years of age.  Applications should be filled out in advance.  Please see Guidance Services for more information.

GRADES 9-12: The VFW Creative Patriotic Art contest is now available.  Art must be on paper or canvas.  Deadline is March 31st.  Please see Guidance Services for more information.

The Construction Industry Career Day is May 29th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the N.J. Convention and Expo Center in Edison, N.J.  You can learn and explore the dozens of construction-related exhibits and demonstrations.  Please visit Guidance Services for more information.

SENIORS: Do you want a chance to get your own parking spot from February 5th through June?  Download and print out the parking application form located on the high school’s website.  Completed applications are due by Wednesday, January 31st to Ms. Salvatoriello in Guidance Service.  All eligible seniors must submit an application with copies of necessary documents even if you currently have a spot.  All outstanding fines must be paid prior to submitting an application for the raffle.

ALL STUDENTS

General Student Council meeting Thursday, January 11th after school in the Media Center.  All students are welcome to attend.

Spring Student Athletes:     Eligibility to participate in spring sports is based on your first semester grades.  This includes your first and second marking period grades plus your mid-term grade.  If you have additional questions or concerns about eligibility, please see your guidance counselor or coach as soon as possible.  Do not wait until the end of the semester.
